Delete your data

Last updated 17 September 2026

The short version

TurboClad is made by STX Insulation Ltd. Almost everything the app holds is on your own phone, and deleting the app deletes it. To have us erase what is on our side, email support@turboclad.co.uk with the subject Delete my data. We answer within one month, free.

How to ask

  1. Email support@turboclad.co.uk with the subject Delete my data.
  2. Tell us how you bought TurboClad, so we know where to look: on the website (write from the address you paid with, or quote your CM- licence code), or inside the Android app through Google Play (say so, and give the Google Play order number from your receipt email).
  3. That is the whole process. There is nothing to fill in, no account to close and no charge. We reply within one month, and we will tell you what was deleted.

You do not have to ask us for anything held on your phone. Delete the app, or clear its storage in Android Settings, and every size, job, setting and licence code it held is gone. Take a backup from Settings first if you want to keep your jobs.

What gets deleted

  • Bought on the website: your email address, the licence code we issued and the fact you own it, and any support emails between us. The code stops working.
  • Bought in the app through Google Play: the purchase record RevenueCat holds for your install, which is an anonymous identifier and what you bought. We never had your name or your email address for that purchase in the first place.
  • On the email list: your address and the fact you signed up. You can also do that yourself from the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.
  • A Workshop or Enterprise licence: as above, plus the count of devices using the code (a one-way hash of each install’s random number and when it last checked in). Those go when the licence ends anyway.
  • On your phone: everything, the moment you delete the app. It was never sent to us.

What we have to keep

  • The bare sales record of a website purchase (date, amount, tax, order reference) for six years from the end of the accounting year it falls in, because UK company and tax law says so. It is kept for the books and nothing else: no marketing, no profile.
  • Stripe and Google Play keep their own payment records under their own rules, not ours. We cannot delete those for you. Ask Stripe or Google Play directly.
  • Nothing else. There is no analytics profile, no advertising ID and no crash reporting to clear out, because the app does not collect any.
