Who you are dealing with

TurboClad is a product of STX Insulation Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC895063, whose registered office is 71 Castlegate, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1LF, United Kingdom. “We” and “us” below mean that company. Contact: support@turboclad.co.uk. Using the app or buying a licence means you accept these terms.

What TurboClad is

An app that develops flat patterns for insulation cladding and prints them 1:1, plus DXF output for plasma and laser. It runs on your device and works offline. It is a drawing tool. It is not an engineering approval, a design certificate, or a substitute for your own judgement on site.

The free tier

The free fittings — mitred elbow, reducer and the pipe chart — are free, need no account, and print the same true 1:1 patterns as Pro. Prove the accuracy on your own metal before you spend a penny.

What a Pro licence gives you

• A licence code, emailed to the address you paid with, that unlocks every fitting, DXF export, saved jobs, your company name on the template, and area and sheet-fit on every pattern.
• The right to use it on the devices you personally work from — your phone, your tablet, the office machine — for your own work or your firm’s.
• The code is checked by the app on the device. There is no server call, so a lost code cannot be un-issued or switched off remotely. Look after it.

A licence is for a person or a small firm using the app to do their own jobs. It is not a site-wide key to be posted publicly, resold, bundled into something else, or issued across a company with hundreds of users on one code. If a code turns up in the wild or is obviously being used at that scale, we may refuse to renew or re-issue it. If you want to licence a whole team properly, email us and we will sort something sensible rather than play games about it.

Monthly, annual or lifetime

Same Pro on every tier. The only differences are the price and how long each code runs.

• Monthly, £3.99 a month. Each payment issues a fresh code by email. The code we send runs for two months — the month you paid for plus a month of overlap — so a renewal that lands late never locks you out mid-job.
• Annual, £29.99 a year. Each payment issues a fresh code by email. The code we send runs for 13 months — a 12-month term plus a month of overlap.
• Lifetime, £79.99. One payment. The code never expires — no renewal, no further charge, no expiry date buried in it. That is the whole promise and the app enforces it.
• Late renewals. On top of the overlap, the app keeps Pro working for 14 days past a code’s expiry date and tells you it has expired rather than calling it invalid.
• Cancelling. Email us and we will cancel the subscription so you are not billed again, and confirm it. Pro then runs to the end of the code you already hold.

Payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or hold your card details. Your code is issued automatically when Stripe confirms the payment, and usually lands within a minute. If an amount comes through that does not match the published price, we hold the order and look at it by hand rather than guess — you will hear from us.

Refunds

• Our promise. If Pro is not right for you, email us within 14 days of paying and we will refund it. No interrogation.
• Why we ask you to be straight with us. A licence code cannot be un-issued — the app validates it offline, so there is no switch on our end. A refund runs on trust: if we refund you, stop using Pro.
• Your statutory rights. Buying digital content that is delivered immediately normally ends the 14-day right to cancel under UK consumer law, and by asking for your code straight away you agree to that immediate delivery. Our 14-day promise above is given voluntarily on top. Nothing here affects your legal rights if what you bought is faulty or not as described.
• Subscriptions. Cancel any time. We do not refund part-terms as a rule — your code simply runs to its end — but if a renewal caught you out, email us and we will be reasonable.

Fair use

• Don’t post, sell, or share your code publicly.
• Don’t try to defeat the licence check, decompile the app to lift the pattern engine, or rebrand TurboClad as your own product.
• Patterns you generate are yours. Print them, cut them, send them to a fabricator, put them in a job pack — that is what they are for.

The caution that actually matters

Liability

To the extent the law allows, STX Insulation Ltd is not liable for scrapped material, wasted labour, delay, lost profit or other consequential losses arising from the use of patterns generated by TurboClad. If we are found liable to you for anything despite that, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and if you are buying as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Availability and changes

The app itself runs on your device, so it keeps working when we do not: nothing here depends on our servers staying up. This website, checkout and support email can go down for a while, and we may add, change or retire fittings as the product develops. If we change these terms, the date at the top moves; the terms you bought under are the ones that applied on the day you paid.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
